I echo the concerns expressed by Diane DeSloover in her letter in the March 29, 2025. Understanding that Sen. Sullivan agrees with many of the Trump policies, it is still difficult the understand his lack of comments on issues of importance. I want him to express an opinion about the Signal Chat debacle, the president’s bellicose comments about Canada, Greenland, and Denmark, about our waning support of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
I would like him to show he is not rubberstamping and ducking to preserve his political future. I accept that he is protecting funding for resource development and military spending in Alaska. But the key issue in my mind is the administration’s disdain for both the legislative and judicial branch. Sen. Murkowski shows her independence and courage. I want Sen. Sullivan to stand up for America. I want him to have a voice, not just a nod.<\/p>\n
